Vogue In The Movement is a catchy Pop Indie Rock band from Bakersfield, CA. VITM is one of the biggest bands I've premiered on this show. They released their first EP in 2008 and they've generated nearly 2 million hits in little over one year. Their music may be a little trendy and commerical, but their fun. If you like Fall Out Boy or Green Day, you will dig VITM.

If you'd like to purchase the music you just heard, go to iTunes or Amazon.com

Vogue In The Movement is a catchy Pop Indie Rock band from Bakersfield, CA. VITM is one of the biggest bands I've premiered on this show. They released their first EP in 2008 and they've generated nearly 2 million hits in little over one year. Their music may be a little trendy and commerical, but their fun. If you like Fall Out Boy or Green Day, you will dig VITM.
If you'd like to purchase the music you just heard, go to iTunes or Amazon.com
Tracks in this episode: Don't Think, Guilty, Pleasures, Fire on the Dance Floor, and Head Over Heals.
For more information on VITM, go to their website.
Stay tuned for an exclusive interview with lead singer, Chris Puckett on Great Unknowns Music Exposé

Mammút is an Icelandic band and the featured artist of the week. While many listeners outside of Iceland may not understand a single lyric, make no mistake, they do speak the universal language of awesome rock music. They have a distinct Icelandic sound, but are similar to the Iceland band, The Sugarcubes and Bjork with an alternative rock kick to their sound.

This 5-member band originally formed in 2004 with 2 boys and 3 girls no older than 16. Five years later, they are back with the album "Karkari". Hear a 4-track preview from this awesome rock band right here!

Madd Doc Mixtape, The Great Unknowns Hip Hop Edition

Episode XVIII. This weeks artist spotlight is a local talent from Chino Hills and Inglewood, CA native, Madd Doc aka The D.O.C. "On Call" mixtape was recorded back in 2008, but was not released until July 2009 due to his involvement in live "Twin Towers" performances and work on other music projects with 92 Fam, The District.

This is the true essense of hip-hop. Just when you think Hip-Hop died back in the 90s following the death of hip hop legends, Biggie and Topac with no chance of resurrection. with good lyrics and good ol'fashion hard hittin beats that make you want to grove and invest in a good hard hit'n system for your ride (Car drive by wit a boomin' system). I'm not even kidding. lol

Also, read my exclusive interview with Madd Doc at http://greatunknownsmusicexpose.tk
